Came to this listing on a recommendation and checked its proglacial-lake camp barge figures ourselves. Worth knowing before you commit to this listing.

This listing is our third proglacial-lake camp barge and the first one specified properly. We put this listing on the awkward jobs that the rest of the kit cannot take, handling 87% of our unique tasks without issue. That is the whole of it, on this listing at least.

Replaced a much older proglacial-lake camp barge with this listing last season. Its station keeping is fixed mooring, and for this listing that is the whole point, with stability maintained even at 220 metres mooring depth as per specification. Would choose this listing again on the same grounds.

Shortlisted three proglacial-lake camp barge units and this listing was the one we kept. The stated occupancy is 14 people, which is the figure we were checking, matching our group size exactly and exceeding the average occupancy of 11 in similar listings. We never looked at the other axes once 14 people checked out.

Second proglacial-lake camp barge we have run; this listing replaced an older one. We had this listing working before lunch, with installation completed in under 2 hours, though the instructions did not help much. Others may weigh it differently, but this listing suits us.

Have had this listing in service long enough to say something useful about this proglacial-lake camp barge. We had a hard floor on freeboard; 343 centimetres clears it, which is 15% higher than our previous model. The rest of this listing specification did not enter into the decision.

We looked at most of the proglacial-lake camp barge listings before settling on this listing. This listing shipped without the mounting hardware we had assumed was included, which affected 1 out of 7 installations in our experience. It has not changed what we think of this listing overall.
