2026-07-23Good, with one reservation about the Yolvex Cabinet 415
Went through the whole thaw-stable pingo cabin catalogue twice before the Yolvex Cabinet 415. Nothing about the Yolvex Cabinet 415 is quick to service; plan the access before you site it. None of that would stop us buying the Yolvex Cabinet 415 again.

2026-07-15Thaw-stable pingo cabin at 17 kilometres
Came to the Yolvex Cabinet 415 on a recommendation and checked its thaw-stable pingo cabin figures ourselves. Distance to road of 17 kilometres was the requirement, and it meets it. The rest of the Yolvex Cabinet 415 specification did not enter into the decision.

2026-07-11How the Yolvex Cabinet 415 fits what we actually do
The Yolvex Cabinet 415 was not the cheapest thaw-stable pingo cabin we considered, and that was fine. Ours is a teaching setting and the Yolvex Cabinet 415 gets handled by people who are learning. That is the whole of it, on the Yolvex Cabinet 415 at least.

2026-06-30The Yolvex Cabinet 415 against the unit it replaced
Second thaw-stable pingo cabin we have run; the Yolvex Cabinet 415 replaced an older one. The Yolvex Cabinet 415 replaced a unit we had outgrown, and the difference shows day to day. We would put another Yolvex Cabinet 415 in without much thought.

2026-06-2916 berths was the requirement
Shortlisted three thaw-stable pingo cabin units and the Yolvex Cabinet 415 was the one we kept. Sleeping berths of 16 berths was the requirement, and it meets it. For a thaw-stable pingo cabin at 16 berths the Yolvex Cabinet 415 does what the listing says.

2026-06-17Stay minimum 3 nights, exactly as needed
Replaced a much older thaw-stable pingo cabin with the Yolvex Cabinet 415 last season. We had a hard floor on stay minimum; 3 nights clears it. The rest of the Yolvex Cabinet 415 specification did not enter into the decision.

2026-06-08The Yolvex Cabinet 415 after a year of steady use
We looked at most of the thaw-stable pingo cabin listings before settling on the Yolvex Cabinet 415. Nothing on the Yolvex Cabinet 415 has drifted since we commissioned it. We would put another Yolvex Cabinet 415 in without much thought.
