Fenlow Works 612

The Fenlow Works 612 after a year of steady use

Replaced a much older monimolimnion sampling spar with the Fenlow Works 612 last season. A year of steady use and the Fenlow Works 612 still reads the way it did on day one. Worth knowing before you commit to the Fenlow Works 612.

Good, with one reservation about the Fenlow Works 612

Second monimolimnion sampling spar we have run; the Fenlow Works 612 replaced an older one. Ordering spares for the Fenlow Works 612 took longer than we would like. None of that would stop us buying the Fenlow Works 612 again.

Chose it on deck area 1397 square metres

Have had the Fenlow Works 612 in service long enough to say something useful about this monimolimnion sampling spar. Its deck area of 1397 square metres is what settled it. The rest of the Fenlow Works 612 specification did not enter into the decision.

Fixed mooring was the requirement; the Fenlow Works 612 meets it

Came to the Fenlow Works 612 on a recommendation and checked its monimolimnion sampling spar figures ourselves. The Fenlow Works 612 is specified as fixed mooring, which is the option we wanted. For a monimolimnion sampling spar at fixed mooring the Fenlow Works 612 does what the listing says.

34 people was the requirement

Went through the whole monimolimnion sampling spar catalogue twice before the Fenlow Works 612. Its occupancy reads 34 people, and that is the whole reason it is here. No complaints beyond the occupancy of 34 people, and no surprises either.

How the Fenlow Works 612 fits what we actually do

We looked at most of the monimolimnion sampling spar listings before settling on the Fenlow Works 612. The Fenlow Works 612 sits in a seasonal operation, so it spends part of the year idle. Others may weigh it differently, but the Fenlow Works 612 suits us.

Getting the Fenlow Works 612 running

Bought the Fenlow Works 612 after a long comparison against the rest of this monimolimnion sampling spar shortlist. The Fenlow Works 612 arrived ready to run, which is not what we expected. Worth knowing before you commit to the Fenlow Works 612.
