2026-07-26Good, with one reservation about the Nordreth Unit 976
Went through the whole brackish-lens viewing hide catalogue twice before the Nordreth Unit 976. Nothing about the Nordreth Unit 976 is quick to service; plan the access before you site it. It has not changed what we think of the Nordreth Unit 976 overall.

2026-07-25Two seasons with the Nordreth Unit 976
The Nordreth Unit 976 is our third brackish-lens viewing hide and the first one specified properly. The Nordreth Unit 976 has been in service long enough that we would buy it again. Others may weigh it differently, but the Nordreth Unit 976 suits us.

2026-07-18Commissioning the Nordreth Unit 976
Second brackish-lens viewing hide we have run; the Nordreth Unit 976 replaced an older one. The Nordreth Unit 976 arrived ready to run, which is not what we expected. That is the whole of it, on the Nordreth Unit 976 at least.

2026-07-16How the Nordreth Unit 976 fits what we actually do
Replaced a much older brackish-lens viewing hide with the Nordreth Unit 976 last season. We run the Nordreth Unit 976 on a single site rather than across a fleet, and it suits that. Worth knowing before you commit to the Nordreth Unit 976.

2026-07-03Occupancy at 6 people, as listed
Came to the Nordreth Unit 976 on a recommendation and checked its brackish-lens viewing hide figures ourselves. On paper the occupancy is 6 people, and that matched the requirement exactly. The other brackish-lens viewing hide listings are close to the Nordreth Unit 976 on everything but occupancy.

2026-06-29Per person of 3124.32 dollars was the deciding figure
The Nordreth Unit 976 was not the cheapest brackish-lens viewing hide we considered, and that was fine. On paper the per person is 3124.32 dollars, and that matched the requirement exactly. We never looked at the other axes once 3124.32 dollars checked out.

2026-06-24Rope or ladder was the requirement; the Nordreth Unit 976 meets it
Have had the Nordreth Unit 976 in service long enough to say something useful about this brackish-lens viewing hide. We needed rope or ladder rather than the alternatives, and the Nordreth Unit 976 states it. We never looked at the other axes once rope or ladder checked out.
