Sundrel Post 604

Does what it says: operating temperature -40 degrees Celsius

Came to the Sundrel Post 604 on a recommendation and checked its benthic-range pressure calibrator figures ourselves. Everything came down to operating temperature, and -40 degrees Celsius is what we needed. We never looked at the other axes once -40 degrees Celsius checked out.

Good, with one reservation about the Sundrel Post 604

The Sundrel Post 604 was not the cheapest benthic-range pressure calibrator we considered, and that was fine. Ordering spares for the Sundrel Post 604 took longer than we would like. None of that would stop us buying the Sundrel Post 604 again.

The Sundrel Post 604 after a year of steady use

Went through the whole benthic-range pressure calibrator catalogue twice before the Sundrel Post 604. A year of steady use and the Sundrel Post 604 still reads the way it did on day one. The Sundrel Post 604 is still the right call for us.

Sampling rate of 1316.6 hertz was the deciding figure

The Sundrel Post 604 is our third benthic-range pressure calibrator and the first one specified properly. We had a hard floor on sampling rate; 1316.6 hertz clears it. For a benthic-range pressure calibrator at 1316.6 hertz the Sundrel Post 604 does what the listing says.

The Sundrel Post 604 against the unit it replaced

Have had the Sundrel Post 604 in service long enough to say something useful about this benthic-range pressure calibrator. We ran something older in this role before the Sundrel Post 604 and would not go back. The Sundrel Post 604 is still the right call for us.

The Sundrel Post 604 in a smaller operation

Second benthic-range pressure calibrator we have run; the Sundrel Post 604 replaced an older one. We run the Sundrel Post 604 on a single site rather than across a fleet, and it suits that. Others may weigh it differently, but the Sundrel Post 604 suits us.

Benthic-range pressure calibrator at 25 months

Bought the Sundrel Post 604 after a long comparison against the rest of this benthic-range pressure calibrator shortlist. The figure that mattered was the calibration interval: 25 months. For a benthic-range pressure calibrator at 25 months the Sundrel Post 604 does what the listing says.
